Yesterday, a case that began in 2012 was concluded with a verdict from a jury....
On 10/30/12 at approx. 4pm, Flint Police along with the Michigan State Police and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1600 block of Broad Court for a triple shooting. On scene it was discovered that during a Home Invasion, three male victims and one dog were shot. Two of the male victims were in critical condition and one was serious. All of the victims, including the dog survived their injuries.
Twin brothers, Jajuan and Trahuan Robinson, were later arrested and both were charged with three counts of Assault with Intent to Murder, Torturing/Maiming an Animal, 1st degree Home Invasion, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Felony Firearm.
Jajuan Robinson pled guilty to the charges, while Trahuan Robinson went to trial. The jury rendered a guilty verdict yesterday to all charges, with one count of Assault with Intent to Murder amended to Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm.
Jajuan Robinson is scheduled to be sentenced on 03/24/15 and Trahuan is scheduled to be sentenced on 04/07/15.
