Yesterday, at approx. 4pm, Flint Police responded to the 1100 blk. Huron after reports of shots fired. On scene it was determined that a man was inside of a home with another man and a minor, and was refusing to come out of the house. The Flint Police tactical team arrived on scene and a perimeter was set around the area. Lt. Taylor, a trained negotiator, also responded to the scene. The other occupants exited the house unharmed. Lt. Taylor successfully talked the man out of the house and he was taken into custody, resolving the situation peacefully with no injuries. The incident was determined to be a family matter and no charges are pending at this time. The man was released to a medical facility for evaluation.
