Dear Chief James Tolbert,
I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on the day before Thanksgiving. After waiting at the intersection for over four hours, Officer Matteson showed up on the scene smiling and apologizing for the long wait. It is hard to believe but Officer Matteson made the whole ordeal pleasant and expeditious and even FUN! He is truly a valuable asset to the Flint Police Dept. He comports himself with poise, professionalism, care and compassion as he serves and protects the people of Flint. Officer Matteson is certainly gifted in his unique ability to diffuse a high anxiety situation into positive and calming results. Sincerly I thank you! --Joy
