The Buffalo Grove Police Department, which is located north of Chicago, have been collecting donated cases of water from their community for the Flint Police and Fire Departments. Members of their department volunteered their time and delivered more that 1000 cases of water in three semi trucks to the Flint Police Department today. Use of the trucks and drivers were made possible by Graebel Van Lines of Buffalo Grove, Hillside Towing of Arlington Heights and A Express Towing of Palatine, all from Illinois. The Flint Police Department is very appreciative of this generous donation from the Buffalo Grove community, spearheaded by the Buffalo Grove Police Department. Thank you!

On 12/26/15 Flint Police responded to a business in the 1700 blk. S. Saginaw for a Burglary report. There was vandalism in several locations inside the business and cash missing. The surveillance system shows two subjects had entered the business. These images are of one of those subjects. The second subject's face was covered. Officers from the Ecorse Police Department stopped in at the Flint Police Department and delivered a check to be utilized for the Flint Water Emergency. The donations were collected from the Ecorse Police Department and their community. The Flint Police Department thanks you on behalf of our community!

In July 2014 Flint Police began investigating a Criminal Sexual Conduct case involving a child victim. As the investigation progressed four victims were identified. Paul Miller (64) of Flint was arrested and charged in this case in October 2014. A jury trial was held in December 2014 and Miller was found guilty of 20 felony counts all related to Criminal Sexual Conduct. Miller was sentenced on 01/25/16 in Judge Fullerton’s courtroom to 25-45 years.

Flint Police are requesting the public's assistance to identify the subjects depicted in this video of the incident. UPDATE... Dantez Pitts (19) was arrested in Flint and is expected to be extradited back to Indiana.

WANTED/REWARD... Dantez Pitts (19) is wanted for homicide and drug charges out of Indianapolis, Indiana. He is known to frequent the area of Pulaski and M.L. King in the City of Flint. R.A.D. for Men... Resisting Aggression with Defense for Men is a FREE comprehensive course available to men in the local community.
Designed to raise awareness of the impact of aggressive behavior, recognize how aggressive behavior impacts participants lives, encourage participants to take steps to avoid aggressive behavior and to look at how individuals can be part of reducing aggression and violence. Each participant will explore resisting aggression while progressing on to the basics of hands-on defense training. Participants will have the opportunity to use techniques in simulated attacks while wearing protective gear. Classes are taught by certified RAD instructors from UM-Flint Police.
