On June 16, 2014, members of the Flint Police Department Area Crime Team (ACT) were conducting surveillance on a subject suspected of conducting a "drive-by" into an occupied house the previous day. During the course of this investigation, team members attempted to stop vehicle near the intersection of Sterling and Stewart in the city of Flint. The vehicle fled from officers and at the end of the pursuit, officers arrested 3 adults for charges ranging from fleeing and eluding and carrying a concealed weapon to possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. All of the arrested parties are currently lodged in the Flint City Lock up. Nice work!
The Flint Lifelines group will be hosting a community safety forum on Thursday, June 19 at 5:30pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 6901 N. Saginaw St., Flint. Members of the City of Flint Police Department will be on hand to provide community public safety updates and ways to become involved with various community safety initiatives.

They will also be demonstrating to the community how to use the FPD social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter, this blog, Crimemapping.com and COPLOGIC.

We encourage anyone who would like to become more involved in the safety of their community to be a part of this event.
