Yesterday afternoon, Flint Police Officers Balasko and Grocholski responded to the area of Ridgecrest and Carpenter for a report of a man with a gun and shots being fired. On scene two victims were located who advised that a male and a female known to them had fired shots at them. The shots did not strike the victims. Officers Balasko and Grocholski located both suspects, a handgun and spent shell casings. The male suspect was found to be a convicted felon. Both suspects were arrested and lodged in jail. Charges are pending review by the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office. Great job Officers!
