This afternoon, at approx. 1:15pm, Flint Police received a call to the area of Fenton & 12th Street, for a Breaking and Entering of a residence in progress. A citizen in the area had heard breaking glass and observed a male crawling through a window into a home. Flint Police Officers Baldwin and Ross arrived on scene and observed the suspect jump from a rear window of the residence. Officers Baldwin and Ross began chasing the suspect on foot. A retired Genesee County Sheriff's Deputy was nearby and assisted in the chase. The officers caught the suspect and he was arrested and lodged in jail for Home Invasion and a misdemeanor warrant. Charges are pending review by the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office. Great job everyone, Flint Police, citizens and retirees all working together!
