Yesterday afternoon, 04/28/14, a male subject displayed a weapon and carjacked an elderly male near Ballenger and Beecher Rd. With the assistance of On-Star the vehicle was quickly located. The male subject fled on foot from the vehicle but was apprehended a short time later. The victim was not injured and his vehicle has been returned. Great job to the Officers and Sergeant involved in this case!

On March 30, 2014 the Murder of Dravion Kemp occurred at 2900 Stonegate Dr. The investigation led to Suspect #1, Darius Gilbert, being arrested and charged with murder. Further investigation revealed a second subject that was also involved in the homicide.

Suspect #2 has been identified as Darryl Racheal Taylor Jr. (02/03/1994). Taylor is now wanted for the following charges: Murder (1st Degree), CCW and Felony Firearm.

Ernest Wafer Jr (23) was arrested earlier this week and has now been charged and arraigned for Arson 2nd Degree for a residential fire on 04/20/14 on Flint's north side.

UPDATE... Aaron Ivory (19) who was wanted in connection with the Murder of Lance Pavlow in Mt. Morris Township on December 2, 2013 is now IN CUSTODY. Ivory was arrested this afternoon by the Michigan State Police Fugitive Team, which is comprised of law enforcement officers from multiple jurisdictions including the Flint Police.
