In the early morning hours on 06/05/14, the night squad patrol Lieutenant attempted to stop a vehicle for excessive speed in a residential area. The driver refused to stop. The brief vehicle pursuit ended when the driver found himself at a dead end. The driver then fled the vehicle on foot. The foot pursuit resulted in the driver being arrested in a wooded area. After giving a false name the driver's identity was later determined and he was found to be a wanted Parole Absconder (original charge of Unarmed Robbery) and a Civil Warrant for Child Neglect.
