On 05/25/14 Flint Police responded to a residence in the 2000 blk. Dwight for a woman down. On scene, Patricia Alley (32) was found to be deceased. An autopsy later determined that her death was caused by blunt force trauma. The victim's husband, Craig Alley (32), has been arrested, charged and arraigned for 2nd degree Murder.


On 05/23/14 Flint Police responded to a shooting in the 5600 blk. Baldwin. At that location a female had been shot on the left side of her torso. The victim was originally said to be in critical condition but was soon upgraded to good condition. Michigan State Police stopped a vehicle in the area a short time after the shooting was reported. A gun which was the same caliber as that used in the shooting on Baldwin was located in the vehicle. Both occupants of the vehicle (18 and 16 years old) were arrested. Those occupants have since been charged and arraigned for Assault with Intent to Murder and Felony Firearm. The 18 year old suspect is identified as Damien Turner. The 16 year old suspect is being charged as an adult.
The individuals pictured here were all arrested, charged and arraigned for the charges listed in the last week.


On 05/23/14 the Flint Fire Department responded to the 2600 blk. Begole for a report of a fire. On scene a fire was found behind a vacant house. There was damage to a house and a neighboring garage. The joint FPD/MSP Arson Investigation Team responded to the scene. A 14 year old suspect was arrested and charges are pending with the Genesee County Prosecutors Office.

On May 6, 2014, Flint Police Officers responded to the shooting of two individuals in the area of Bradley and Pencombe in the city of Flint. Investigation revealed Jalen Williams to be the suspect in this incident. Warrants for Williams arrest were secured from the Genesee County Prosecutor's Office and Williams turned himself in at the Flint Police Department on May 23, 2014. Williams is currently being held in the Genesee County jail awaiting court proceedings.



On, 5/27/14, just after 3:00 am, Flint Police Officers responded to the 2600 block of Begole St in reference to someone stripping a vacant house. Upon arrival, officers observed the suspect flee on foot. Despite the torrential rain, Flint Police Officers exited their cruisers and gave chase, apprehending the suspect in the 2300 block of Begole. Officers discovered a large amount of scrap metal in the rear of the suspect's vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and forfeited. Great job to all involved!
