The Flint Police Department is aware of the video circulating on Facebook depicting possible child abuse.  We began investigating this incident yesterday and there are two people in custody at this time.  The investigation is on going.  DHS is also participating in this investigation.

A jury trial concluded yesterday, April 3, with a guilty verdict for Cody Tucker (21) for Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm.  Two co-defendants had previously pled guilty, Robert Yates (23) to Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm and Jeremy Ranger (21) to Aggravated Assault.  These convictions were the result of an investigation stemming from a case in which the victim was severely beaten at Deja Vu Night Club on October 5, 2013.  The victim was in critical condition as a result of his injuries, but fortunately he survived.

The Flint Policed Dept. is pleased to report that Mr. Simpson has been found safe and is now back with his family. Flint Police Sgt. Tracy Ross was driving into work this morning and spotted Mr. Simpson sitting near the roadway. Great job Sgt. Ross!
